This is my first attempt with color burst. I'll say I wasn't impressed. I sure it's me but this card gave me fits. The color kept fading and looking washed out. The image didn't stamp well on my water color paper even with embossing and using the Misti. I was just so disappointed in these cards I wanted to cry. I was going to do all 100 of my cards with this technique but only completed 26.

I love the "reality" of this scene, Tonda! And, I REALLY love the "Wise men still seek Him" verse. However, I know what you mean by it almost driving you to tears...it was so much simpler in your mind, and 100, though a daunting number (in my books at least, got even worse as the process and effect took so much extra effort to accomplish. The result does look great and I am so impressed that you lasted for 26!! I hope you get to try some of the suggested tips and find a way to enjoy working with this medium

It really did turn out beautifully Tonda, I think I've only used it once, I had a hard time with it getting everywhere... You did a awesome job with the colors.... Great card
