I was inspired by the colors and the glow of this image here.
I splattered masking fluid and then let dry. Then I masked for the snowdrifts and moon, sponging, stamping, and moving masks as I went. After removing all masks, I stamped the sentiment and sponged more around the edges to frame the image a bit. I even tried stamping a shadow for the trees for the first time and I think it worked out pretty well. After rubbing off the masking fluid (creating snow), I didn't think there was enough snow falling, so then I splattered some additional diluted white acrylic paint. LOVE, love making these types of scenes.

Maura I don't know how I missed this last week, but I can tell you with out a doubt this stunning masterpiece is going straight into my Favourite Cards of 2016 right this minute. I feel like I am covered in a soft blanket of snow watching this gorgeous deer. This is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent Maura.
