This one is a comedy of errors. I colored her with copics and pencils, got down to her socks and shoes and had a mess. The wax from the pencils globbed up so I erased as much as I could, then did the unthinkable, went over it with copics. Duh, alcohol and wax make a mess. I fussy cut her and reprinted the image, coloring the shoes and socks and pasting her on. When Susie Australia writes about her amputations, I laugh hysterically, until it happened here. After it was pasted down, the teddy ear fell off and glued itself elsewhere on the paper. I picked it off, glued it in place leaving a nice blemish on the paper near her hand. At this point I realized teddy's legs are wrinkled too but it was time to call it a day. I added the flourish, hoping it would take attention away from the damaged paper. Thanks to my lousy photography, it doesn't show up very well in the photo. Thanks for stopping by.

This is one CLASSY card. It's a work of art for sure. I'm looking at this card and I can't believe how you made the pleats in her dress look so real. The stitching is so unique and I just love it. All the trials and tribulations you went through on this card were certainly worth it. Thanks for sharing this beautiful card creation with us.

This is so sweet and so special Nancy!! Your coloring is so soft and dreamy looking. I can't imagine how you used copics. I also never would imagine the trouble you had while creating this. I don't know why, but I always think things go together more easily for others. I will put this in my favorites so I can be sure to view it again. Thanks for sharing your talent. :>)

Your card still makes me swoon, Nancy....and your tale of woe gave me a good knowing sigh and chuckle. Your coloring and signature palette are unparalleled here on SCS.

Oh my, Nancy, how could such an adorable image cause so much trouble. Well, you worked your magic and it turned out absolutely lovely. The coloring looks awesome, and I love how you stitched the edge through eyelets. Very vintagey looking, I love it. And I loved your tale of woe............Hugs, Sue

Nancy, your talent always blows me away! Sometimes surgery is needed.....we've all been there, some of us just don't tell about it! I had to chuckle at your write-up. My Stampinup Demonstrator, way back when, had said that there is always a way to fix a boo boo! Sometimes it requires us to scratch our heads before figuring it out! Upon viewing this Amazing Beauty, I would have never known the frustration you went through to get to this point. She is beyond Adorable and your coloring is Impeccable! An Outstanding piece of Artwork~
