Curious, how the need for sympathy cards comes in bursts. This one's for a friend who just lost her DH to lung cancer.
I used a negative mask, sponged with gray, plum and lavender, over stamped with the stamped-off flourishes and dots. I rocked and rolled the flowers and two-stepped the vase. The card base is kraft, which is sort of tan, right?
Hard to stamp through tears. Maybe it's therapy, and we all grieve in different ways.

Brenda this is so so lovely. I would surely find comfort in receiving a card like this, and I'm sure your friend will too. I have a friend that finds it difficult to make hand made sympathy cards, but I find it great therapy to make something that I think people will find great comfort in. I also have a hard time telling people I'm sorry for their loss, the words always seem so empty to me, so I always hope when they open my hand made card they know that I truly sympathize with them. May God comfort you all.
