This was definitely a CHALLENGE. I pulled the coffee filter out of the coffee pot, dumped the grounds & wiped off as much as I could. Then I dried it with my heat gun & wiped away the sediment so I could stamp on it. I stamped the leaf with basic brown on the 'coffee side'. Hope I didn't get any coffee in my ink pad. Then I crumbled it up and flattened it out again. Then I used decopage glue to adhere it to the cs. I brayered creamy caramel on weathered & stamped over the flower. Either my brayer or the stamp had not been cleaned (oops) and I ended up with a two-toned background (some kind of green).
And I used some of my hoarded hardware!

This is so pretty...love the background and even the greenish color in it! DH and DS will know Mom's lost it: pop tops, shaving cream, dryer sheets, iron, crayolas and now used coffee filters!
