Our cards for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge are going to Linda in Emmet, Idaho. She is a friend of fellow SCSer and Teapotter Leigh Grady. We're sending cats and butterflies - Linda loves cats. To learn more about this week's challenge go here.
I don't have many cat stamps, but when I went looking for an idea, I found this cat's face stamp by Rubber Stampede I had bought years ago for Halloween cards. I also found an old pair of butterfly wing stamps by Stampinks Unlimited that I had forgotten about. So I drew the fat Cheshire cat around the face - found a photo of a fat cheeked cat on line, so decided to add chubby cheeks. Colored Chubby Cheeks with Copics and cut him out. Stamped the wings, colored with Copics and cut out. Stamped the daisy by Hero Arts, colored with Copics and cut out. Drew, colored and cut out the stem. Sponged the sky background using scalloped oval and circle masks. Glued on the stem, popped up the daisy and cat and wings. Cut a rectangle for the sentiment and punched corners with SU ticket punch, colored with Copics and stamped SU sentiment and glued on card.

These is very artistic and really is fabulous. I love the colors you used. It looks like a whimsical piece of artwork that should be made into a fun brooch or earrings like the "Lunch at the Ritz" line of jewelry. I just love it!
