Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, and Whisper White. I added Basic Black as a Neutral.
I have to say that I have 6 cats huddled around the a/c vent in my office! It's hot outside! And, the fact that one of the 6, (Spittie Kittie), keeps rushing from window to window in the living room, doesn't help the others' attitudes. It's as though EVERYONE is in a bad mood....EVEN ME! LOL
I was going to sit this challenge out, since I have LOTS to do this morning...We are volunteering at a shelter this summer, so Markie and I have to be out of the house some mornings before 9:15 AM...However, I saw the challenge, and thought...hmmm....a Clean and Simple card would be fast enough!
I scored the background on my Scor Pal. Then, I stamped in the silhouettes in Baja Breeze. Next, I sponged in Baja Breeze to give some "depth" to the scene. I punched out the butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch in Ruby Red and sponged them, tone on tone. The Ruby Red layer was punched with a MS border punch. I added black half pearls for contrast.
Finished card size: 4 3/4" square.
Total Time to complete: 9 minutes start to finish.

Very elegant! Even without the dots, I can pick your cards out of the gallery! You have a distinctive style even with clean and simple cards!
