Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use it Challenge: Creative Images. We could use punched, paper tearing, etc to create the main image on our cards today. (No Stamping for the Main Image.)
I have to admit that Speedy the Cat and Yum Yum are very loving cats, especially if we are eating CHICKEN! They rub against our legs and meow. It can get VERY LOUD if we don't "Share!" So, Mark often grills extra chicken, just for THEM!(Oh, no....he doesn't love them......NOT!LOL!) On top of that, I collect Chicken/Rooster Cookie Jars. I keep Cat Treats in one of them, so you can make the leap, right?
I was inspired to make a punched chicken since I picked up this cute ribbon at Micheals yesterday. I know that other people make punch animals, but I'm pretty sure this is different. The chicken was made with SU! Scallop circle (body and big wings), Boho Blossoms (cut the flowers for feet and wattle), scalloped oval(small wings and tail), and large oval(cut down for head).
Everything but the wattle, and feet started out WHITE! I sponged them HEAVILY! The wings and tail were punched, cut and "embossed" with a stylus.
