Today's inspiration challenge was to pick a calendar from Lang Calendars. I chose this one because of the beautiful lily blossoms: http://www.lang.com/product/1001233
This set is called 'I Am The Way' from Our Daily Bread Designs, and will be available on February 1st. Using masks, I stamped the flowers multiple times on the main panel, and extras to cut-out and pop up. Using an aquapainter, the flowers were watercolored in layers: apricot then pumpkin (dotted with Bravo Burgundy marker), leaves: celery then artichoke. Artichoke was also used to watercolor the background and sponge the edges. Gel pen was used to accent the centers. Paper pierced the edges and around each flower. Thanks for looking! Have a blessed day!
