Started off making my own dp for the Pattern Pizzazz. I didn't have the heart to tear pages out of my antique hymnal, so I scanned a page and printed it on Very Vanilla cardstock. It (plus the bg panel) was ran through cb embossing folder, and colored with sponges with Regal Rose, Bravo Burgundy, and Old Olive...I LOVE how it turned out and will try it again! The birds and sentiment are from Crafty Secrets' 'Bird Lovers' set, colored with markers and popped up over the leaves from Martha Stuart's foliage punch. Added ribbon as a panel from the sketch, plus pearls to finish. Thanks so much for looking and God Bless you for your comments!!!!

This is fabulous...and definitely a blessing to see! You are amazing! I am also eyeing some of my old hymnals in a totally new way...and I agree - I could never tear a page from one of them! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card!

I arrived here from the thread about using pages from a hymnal (which I read thoroughly and enjoyed very much). This is a gorgeous card as everyone else has said. I'm thanking you 'cause I'm putting it into my favorites so I can be 'inspired' by it.
