Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Paint it Black. Participants were to use a Black card base to highlight the colors of the card.
I have to admit this...I love BLACK! I wear black clothes because they make me look slimmer...Yeah..I'm a slender little thing...RIIIIIGHT! LOL! I have black flip flops that I wear EVERY day. I have black "based" purses. I have Black sweaters. 12 of them! ALL the tires on my van are black... And...last but certainly NOT least...Speedy the Cat is a BLACK CAT!!!!
So, when I saw this challenge BRIGHT, Bold, GREENS, Pinks and Reds came to mind...But, I toned it down 180 degrees and went Sepia! LOL! The vine image was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink onto the "sepia" layer and then onto the vanilla lace layer. Next, I cut the vanilla lace layer with a Nesties! The flowers and butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.

Faith this scheme is so 'up your alley'. You work so wonderfully with black. I love your sepia scheme (didn't your fellas give you a bit of a go concerning this scheme a while back?!!) It is STUNNING and elegant. Exams start today and my oldest has requested a toasted egg sandwich (I don't know why cereal won't do today like any other, but I guess he heard eggs were brain food and he didn't study much so...) I just heard the shower stop so I'd better hop to it..
