Recipe for banana bread is tucked inside a pocket card. Ribbons are tied around the card and embellished with a safety pin and charm that says "made with love". I'll be attaching these cards to mini loaves of banana bread. Recipe follows.
Funky Monkey Banana Bread
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1-1/2 cups mashed ripe banana
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and oil. Stir in banana and vanilla. Add baking mix, sugar and nuts; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, if desired. Pour batter into greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake 55-60 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean. Yield: 1 loaf

don't have time to read through all of the messages, but just wanted to remind you that the small gable box holds mini breads PERFECTLY! How great would that be??? Such a great idea. I will be casing this if I decide to get this set.
