This is for today's sketch challenge. I have trying to make Christmas cards for the challenges and today was no exception. Found this paper by My Mind's Eye at my LSS and noticed that this reindeer stamp from Mike's matches it rather well. Heavy sponging on the soft sky layers toned down it's brightness to match the blue in the papers. I used a Zinforfian (term credited to NancyRuth) technique to create the main image. Stamped the reindeer in versamark on soft sky cs. Heat embossed with clear ep. Colored him in with a versamark pen and heat embossed again. Sponged around him in chocolate chip and then with the chestnut roan chalk ink that I used to age the rest of the card. All edges are distressed. Ribbon is chocolate chip tafetta from SU. Thanks for looking!

This is awesome! Love the sort of non traditional Christmas card feel of it... great take on the challenge!

I was thinking when I saw the challenge that this might be nice for a Christmas card and lo and behold you did one. I had more traditional colors in mind but yous is nice, too and it shows that it is suitable for a Christmas card. Very nice.
