Thanks Emily for a stunning color challenge today! This is such a beautiful combination.
When I came across this stamp at Big Lots recently, I couldn't resist adding it to my sentiments! Don't know if this would apply to us creative artists...but who's got time to keep a journal when it's so much fun creating art? And I just had to use this Marilyn stamp from Viva Las Vegas. I inked her with Adirondack pitch black and colored with Copics. She is popped on foam. My sentiment is from Dawn Houser for Inkadinkadoo. Again I used Adirondack ink. All images (including the spiral pad by Graphic Rubber stamp) are stamped on GP white cs. I restamped the pen with TH di antique linen and embossed in clear. It is slightly popped onto the pad. I cuttled/nested the polka dot scalloped rectangle and then cut a larger mat in SU soft sky which was also embossed. I used a B Line cube for the eyelet twill trim directly to the Basic Grey paper. I added real eyelets for texture. My piece of lace is dyed with the TH di antique linen...as close to kraft as I have. I finished it off with a expoy button from MM and a bit of blue ribbon. The Basic Grey paper is cuttled with the CB diamond embossing folder. And then mounted onto unknow black cs.
I am so inspired by the lovely creations in the Fan Club this month...especially Kharmagirl's Marilyn...If you're not a member...you're missing out on some awesome talent...certainly WELL WORTH the price of supporting OUR community. Oh and by the way, there's a fabulous 7 minute You TUBE video on Marilyn Monroe's Wardrobe if you are interested. Thanks so much for reading this to the end and of course, please tell me what YOU think!

Oh wow!! This is a great one!! Love this fabulous collage of textures, images, and patterns. Those hooks and eyes are just perfect for this (reminds me of the kinds on corsets). You and Mothermark are the most clever artists on this site! So creative and I always look forward to what you will come up with next.

Oh yes, I can see you're really taken with the fashion theme in the fan club Susan and I can see why, I've been there and would love to have a go too. I have no fashion stamps so I'll have to get creative.
If I could turn out cards like yours I'd be so happy. Your card today is another one of those I want to send to someone right now! It's a stunner. Love all the detail and hard work you put into it and what a brilliant result!
I don't have a diary either... we must be bad girls together and your card is very bad which these days my son tells me, means very good... apparently LOL!
