This is my card for this month's My Favorite Things Guest Designer Challenge. We were to make a card with black trimmed in black with black embellishments. This is my story:
1. Ever since the Bones Family moved into the neighborhood, about a dozen of the neighborhood dogs have been trying to get the nerve up to go to the door and ask for bones. They gotta have bones in that house right?
2. You've heard of a double dawg dare? Baxter decided to take his buddies up on a dozen dawg dare! All the dogs have noticed that every now and then the kids in the neighborhood dress up, knock on people's doors and get treats!! It's gotta work right?
3. Mom is so embarrassed about Baxter's bad behavior that she made Johnny try to get him back home. Baxter out weighs Johnny and he simply can't budge him.
4. Push harder Johnny!!
The moral of the story?
1. Dogs will do anything for a bone!
2. Moms will do anything to avoid being embarrassed in front of the neighbors.
3. Kids will do anything their moms tell them to!

I knew when I saw this cute card that it was going to have a terrific story with it. This is just awesome as is the story. Poor Johnny better eat his Wheatie's if he is going to handle Baxter.

Poor Johnny I believe he's going to wear himself out trying to get Baxter back home away from the Bones' house like his mommy asked him to do. Baxter reminds me of Clifford the Big Red Dog and his owner Emily Elizabeth (I think that's her name) stories I've read to the grandkids.
Great story and card....your creativity never ends. TFS

Oh my gosh Cindy - you just keep getting better and better with your paper crafting! I love your doorway - and little vignette with the dog and boy on the sidewalk and his cape and hat! and the boy 'pushing' the dog! You are one free thinking story girl! very, very cute! good luck in the contest! if it doesn't win - it's not because this isn't perfect!!!
