Hi! This ensemble was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: The Whole Enchilada. We were to make 3x3 cards, a box for them and decorate envelopes.
Okay...I got a wild Speedy the Cat hair up my nose and decided I was going make a different box...Then, I decided, I was going to make different 3x3's....
So...out came the Nestibilities. I took the LARGEST scallop and cut 2 in black. (That's the base.) Then, I made a box as per the directions and taped the big scallops to the outside of the box! Instant scallop box!!!!
Then, I made the 3x3 scalloped cards by folding a sheet of 3 1/4" x 8" in half. I then placed the CENTER TOP three scallops a bit ABOVE the fold and ran it through the Cuttlebug! WOO HOO! It worked! I had a folded scalloped circle card!!!!
The Kaleb the Kool Koala was stamped in Basic Black and colored in with an aqua painter. This was done by scribbling the Going Gray marker into the lid of the Going Gray ink pad. Then, I used the Aqua Painter to pick up the then DILUTED ink! (Koalas are LIGHT gray...I know....Markie LOVES koalas!!!)
I sponged the Regal Rose circles with Pink Passion.
The leaves are cut from a DIFFERENT Treehouse Stamps set.
The envelopes were sponged on the sides and flap. The leaves were colored with SU! markers.
