I have never done one of these before.
Once I got the hang of it...it went alittle smoother....literally...less paper smooshing. I added a scalloped circle border to the back of my flower to give it a little more presence....I know...it is huge!!!! I used two different pieces of the bali breeze...same flower, but they each have different backgrounds....I love the way it the flower looks. I definitely want to try this again!!!!!

Gorgeous! Love your flower and the faux stitched borders you added to your sentiment and layers. The black scalloped bg really makes your dahlia stand out!
