Yeah! My first polished stone bg EVAH! Wow..always wanted to try this technique (Beate has an awesome tutorial under resources section!)
I had no idea it would be sooo simple to do.
I used my pelican from Gina K Designs (www.ginakdesigns.com) and then i just sketched some wood stump thingys for him to sit on and the cattails in the background. I love the expression on this guy's face!
I used my creative memories cutting system to cut the circles and put eyelets and hemp around to make it look like a porthole (sort of!)

Gosh - what a card. It's loaded with great techniques. The polished stone background is stunning and making the frame like a porthole/floatation device is just too cool.

Love the twine and eyelets around the pelican. Great card. Tab feature is very cut too.
