This is for today's Try a new technique challenge - End of the School Year Gifts, found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I spent more time on that than stamping the basket! There is a checkerboard stamp on the handle and around the rim. The one apple says you are the apple of my eye.
I have had this cute 5" x 5" basket from the $ store for a long time and pulled it out for my first gift. I made this for our sweet lunch lady. She always recognizes the birthday kids and those who have a sports game or just need encouragement and makes them feel special at lunch. I will fill this with special chocolates that I know she loves. The basket was stamped with craft inks with the retired Country Apple set. The tissue is also wheeled with a retired wheel. The small apple on the tag is an old incentive stamp. I had to dig deep into my sell box to come up with this one. Now, on to the boys teachers. I have to put more thought in to those gifts!
