It's Teapot Tickle day and I'm on vacation, so I can play along! This month's tickle theme is feathers. The first thing I thought of was the pretty feather wrapping paper that I had used for my sister's Christmas gift. I went downstairs to grab the leftover scrap. Then I searched "feather" in my Color My Life app (hey for anyone who is upset about the recent changes to Evernote--Color My Life is better and has a web version now!). I came up with this cute stamp set. Then I browsed the most recent tutorials for my extra cookies. I found this Collage With Stamps and Dies tutorial and decided to try it out because I finally bought a bottle of gesso and hadn't even opened it. For the base layer, I tore up a piece of schoolwork that my kids brought home. There wasn't quite enough words on it, but you can see some. Then I made the mistake of stamping in Memento before coloring with Spectrum Aqua markers. Why didn't I stamp it with Versafine? Duh. I die cut a glittery sledding hill for the birds and added some Stickles to the pompom. The sledding bird is on an action wobble.
