A quick card for today's IC and yesterday's F4A, which was 'it's a girl thing.'
When I worked at Target, I sometimes would save glossy white cardboard from clothing. I've had the pink piece in my stash for a while, it was made with pink alcohol inks and a stencil. The stencil is geometric hearts, hard to see the pattern, I think I placed the already wet stencil on the cardboard after using it in another way. I stamped my Parisian lady on it, cut it out then used a piece for the background, having drawn some black lines and dots on top and bottom. I used a small piece of an old doily, some postage ephemera from a card from Anita (a postage stamp is inside) and some Nuvo Drops.
As some of you know, I don't create for specific genders a lot, in fact, I'd say my style veers toward gender neutral and I like it that way. But every once in a while, I can do girly, even though it isn't my favorite. I have had this stamp for a long, long time, haven't used it in a long, long time. Don't know what company, probably out of business. I think I like it because it isn't frou frou. It reminds me of that movie Funny Face with Audrey and Fred. Another favorite movie of Audrey's. Think Pink!!!! I think I'd love Paris.
