It is Tickle a Teapotter time and Denise aka Card Crazy has us celebrating National Waterpark Day. I have had my eye on this Vera Lane Studio's digi stamp set for a while, Denise's fun challenge gave me the perfect excuse to buy it.
Here we have Little May, Daisy May, June and April along with their bikini clad cousin, Tallulah. All the girls are printed on copy paper, coloured with Prismacolour pencils, Zest it pencil blend and a colourless blending pencil. Highlights made with Jane Davenport Dotty markers, a light swipe with a distress ink walnut stained foam blending tool, than fussy cut.
The background was from my stash and was a combination of Dylusions and Ranger ink sprays and JD dotty markers. The panel was too big for what I had in mind. I had a choice of cutting off the green at the bottom or the blue across the top - neither option appealed to me so I cut an inch out of the middle. I stuck the two halves back together using double sided tape.
Unfortunately I did not remove the protective backing from the tape, meaning the recipient will see a slightly raised area right across the middle of the card. Next time I do this cut 'n shut trick I will remember to remove the tape backing.
I used my MISTI, Stazon and a fun Dylusions boarder stamp that has never seen ink and some Carabelle Studio stamps to create a waterpark theme.
I placed a strip of tape measure washi tape behind Little May and Daisy May - they might be too short for some of the activities!
Lots of Stickles were used to simulate water. I had a heap of fun making this, especially knowing that it is going to a Teapotter.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in. Stay safe.

Oh, I looked at this, and thought you had fun making this, then read your write up and you did! and it shows! I would not have wanted to cut anything off the top or bottom either. Love the vibrancy of your coloring. Your fussy cutting is amazing too! Love the scars! Someone is going to love getting this! Maybe it will be me!

What a hoot!!!! Love the way you create different characters from the same image, so clever and creative. Tallulah is too much fun with her kooky goggles. Fabulous bg and creation!

I was tickled to receive Susie's tickle card. It is fabulous in real life. I love all the stickles so perfectly done.
JuThe girls are happy they live at the beach and can go swimming anytime.
Susie you can't even tell the BBC acking was left on. I really had to search for it. I actually think it makes it pop in that area and makes the girls pop up a little. It's perfect just the way it is.
