TLC801 = Stamping with rubber bands. See Karen's instructions here.
For the water/waves I used Karen's technique, but twisted the rubber bands as I wrapped them around the acrylic block. I wanted the ink/paint pick-up to be uneven. Did them first with blue ink, then with small twisted bands, picked up white acrylic for the white caps. I thought Karen's technique worked out well for water. Stamped the image and came back in with white acrylic for the sails and a few highlights.

Looks like we used the same image with very different styles. I just love the way your painting transitions the sea to sky. Great effect and beautiful color of blue that you chose.

The twisted effect looks great. I was intrigued when I saw it on my phone yesterday, it looks even better on a big screen. It looks cold and wet out there! Very atmospheric.

Nailed it! Great job combining the two challenges with this awesome sailboat scene. The water looks a little rough, but I think it still looks like a fun time!
