I don't have any pearl ex, so I tried the heated pearls technique using pastels scraped into the glue. Messy, but I absolutely love the results. To make the brads look like screw heads, I placed the tip of a screwdriver on top of the brad & hit it with a hammer to make an indent. Not as defined as I would have liked. Main image & butterfly are popped up.

this card is amazing..I wondered about hitting the brads with a screw driver..did you use something to hold the brads or did you just lay the prongs down flat? Love this card!

The swirls on the bkgrd panel are awesome, looks like real copper sheeting. And I never would have thought to do that with the brads. I probably would miss hitting the brad and end up with an indented thumb nail or something.
