How fun that Hawaiian is the Featured Stamper this week - Victoria is such a sweet card artist and has a lot of fun creations in her gallery. This card inspired me:
So instead of a boat window I went with a traditional window, used similar foliage/coral dies, stayed with a beach/sea theme, but I made a wreath and have flamingos. Apparently flamingos are not native to Hawaii but there are some in the Honolulo zoo so I am sticking with them.
Congrats Victoria - thanks for the inspiration, all your sweet, sweet encouraging words to others, and for being such a super member of this community. Millions of hugz.
To make the wreath, I cut a circle and then cut out the middle and glued the ends together. Then I layered on some fussy cut shells from the Seashell Christmas tree image. Then I twisted on some fibers. Then I did another layer of seashells and some kraft foliage splattered with white paint. Added on some Stickles and some pearls.

My oh my, I do love the wreath you created for this seaside window! The lush layers of die cut sprigs, fiber and fussy cut seashells create the perfect setting for those ginormous pearls!!!! Love the colors and the textures that you thought to use, as well. This card totally sings to my sea spirit. Nicely done! TFS

Nancy, I'm so glad I had a chance to see this gorgeous card. The wreath is outstanding. It has dimension, texture, and sparkle! I dare say it would be a beautiful wreath to make for your door! I bet you could too!
