This is my card for Lisa's WTUI challenge this week. I don't have much call for this type of card, but I made this to send to a special pen-friend in NJ.
WT673 is HERE.
The base is cream card, crimped and then highlighted with a brown Gelato. I used the Corner Chomper to round the corners, and edged it with gold Stickles.
The next layer is gold card embossed with IO Cover-a-Card Vines in gold, popped up on foam tape. I used a Fiskars corner punch, and edged the whole piece with gold Stickles.
The heart is cut from cream card, and popped on foam, after laying down a few Angelina fibres underneath.
I decorated the heart with tiny gems, and flowers cut from a piece of watercoloured and embossed tissue.
Actually, the plan was to have this as the base layer, but the heart looked so much better on the gold that the pink went into my scrap box.

WOW! Love this card....every little thing...the rusty look to your crimped background with brown gelato rubbing, the gold foil vine embossing, the lovely lacy heart, and gold stickles look great all around! Your pink watercolor paper for your flowers are perfect here...and I sure agree on the gold vs. pink heart background! Just so very ELEGANT!!

This is pure elegance, Sabrina. Wonderful combination of textures and patterns, and thhe colors are so lovely. This should sit in a little frame on an end table....too pretty to not leave it on display.
