Oh my! I made my first interactive card - ever! What fun! I used the video instructions from Allison Cope's "Inspire Me Monday" blog post found here, and it worked! The newest digital release from Power Poppy, Gingerbread Family, was the inspiration I needed to make this spinner card...what a tickle!
I decided to use the front and back of the gingerbread man and found some DP that worked. I used fine embroidery thread to sandwich between the layers, and then I used Ally's instructions from her video. They are perfect, and I had such fun making it. I added a little banner with the sentiment and some buttons to finish it off. And the big news is that I did my first video to show how the little gingerbread boy spins! It's on my blog, and I'm feeling sort of proud! Hehe!
Thanks so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a beautiful rest of the week! Hugs, sweet friend!! xoxo
(Note: I must confess that I have had this card on my table, and I continue to blow on the gingerbread man just to see him spin! I am still delighted at how it really works...haha! Guess I'm still a kid at heart yet...and hope always to be!)
