Today I'm playing with the colors from the color challenge as well as yesterdays Try a New Technique - Swipe your Credit card!
I pressed Distress Oxides Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick and Fossilized Amber, over my craft mat, spritzed with water, dipped the edge of my gift card into the ink then dragged it across the card stock panel as per Karen's instructions!
Love the look! I die cut the dandelion fluff and leaves out of white and layered them over the inked panel. I stamped the Martin Luther quote directly onto the panel and added a little bling with some pink rhinestones!
I'm making cards for a group at my church that sends 'thinking of you' cards to elderly members who cannot get out to church - so I think these will be very nice for that purpose!

Beautiful card using this week's colors. And I LOVE that you tried the technique with oxide inks. I like the background I achieved, but I think I like yours even more. Bold, and lovely, and a perfect backdrop for your white die-cuts. Great quote, too!
