I free-handed this purse card design for Cathy's fantastic challenge to "Shape Up"; create a shaped card.
I created the purse card base and handles with Marina Mist card stock. I used Stampin' Up!'s lovely retired Paisley Petals DSP on the front and back of the card base. I made the top flap on the purse card with the same DSP, using an IO frame die (sorry, I cannot find the name of the die). I alternated two designs from the DSP on the flap and added that on a piece of Old Olive card stock. I attached the flap to the card base with foam tape.
I created a Tangerine Tango rose with a Swarovski Crystal in the center and attached it to the purse flap. Using an ODBD oval die, I cut out two ovals to which I added the sentiment and two Swarovski Crystals.
The purse card folds like a regular card and there is plenty of room on the inside for a personal message. The card measures 7" x 5-1/2".
Thanks so much for viewing and commenting!

Wow, Bev, this is gorgeous, and I agree with my sweet DD sis Susie! Totally gorgeousness! Hehe! Truly, I am amazed at your designing the shape yourself and "accessorizing" it so beautifully! Love it, precious sister! Hugs! xoxo

I have missed so much in the gallery these past few months....LIFE does that sometimes. Occasionally I get a few minutes to check galleries that I like and yours us one of them. This is amazing...you really need to do a tutorial. That big rose of perfect and the colors you chose are amazing.
