This is for Cathy's fun "shaped card" challenge. I began by modifying a really old overalls template.
I completely covered metallic cardstock with a good glue stick, then attached the dp. After drying overnight, I placed the new template on top of the covered card and cut out the front and back.
I distressed around the edges using the edge of my blade, then punched small holes at the shoulder edge and joined the back to the front using twine. Oh before I joined the pieces together, I trimmed all the edges with gorgeous ribbon (RAK from Jody).
I added some faux stitching with a fine brown micron pen and liquid pearl buttons.
Thanks so much for looking, it is great to be back getting inky.

Oh my goodness Miss Susie this is just super adorable! Love the paper colors, love the wonderful added lace from Jody and love the detailed edging you added. Such a fantastic shape card you have created!!!!

OH SUSIE!!!!! This is a Monumentally Superb creation!!! Have you harkened back to a garment you had been adorned with as a child? I can just picture a little Susie in this. So, So Cute! This wins the Awww Award of the Year! I Love the little lacy ruffles and the distressing of it all. Fantastic!

Susie - this is just so girly. Lots of lace and such pretty colours. I like How you have liked the inside and used the same "fabric" for the pockets too. You will have to go into production for this one - lots of us "big girls" would like to dance around in some of these too.
