Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen: cherry cobbler, crushed curry, garden green, pumpkin pie and for dessert: leaves.
This one is more CAS if my other card was color overload for you! Similar process though (without the batik part): Embossed the leaves, sponged, and splattered with water for a ghosting effect, diluted inks of the same colors and also diluted white acrylic paint (that's a lot of splattering for that small a space, but it all adds something)! Added a strip of garden green cs and sponged white pigment ink along the green border and also the border of the embossing. This softened the different colors of ink and gave it a kind of ethereal quality that I like.

This is just beautiful, Maura. I love the soft but bold colors and the speckles. It really highlights those gorgeous leaves--thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
