Mary's color this week speaks "Autumn". Made a birthday card for my brother, from a new stamp. We were raised on a dairy farm, so it will remind him of our younger days. Stamped, embossed and colored with the inkpads and paint brush. Stippled the trees with a scruffy brush, and added wink of stella. Added white with my ink. embossed bg and scored to make a border. Everything is going well, until it was time to write the sentiment. One problem with dip pens and inks, they sometimes bleed. I was not going to start over so took a copic fine liner and outlined the sentiment. It worked. TFL

You would never guess that anything went wrong on this spectacular card. Like always, I would love a large version of this to hang on the wall. This just invites you to walk down that road...or in my case ever since I adopted Georgia the ginormous German Shepherd, run down that road. Fsved.

I'm a city girl, born are raised in Brooklyn NY (concrete jungle) so I absolutely appreciate open land, farms, woods, NATURE, and this screams WELCOME! This is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Reminds me of the farms in Pennsylvania or outside the city enroute to western NY.
I love the hint of herringbone behind the image panel. Everything is masculine and your brother will adore it! Should be hanging in a gallery!
