Good morning, wonderful friends! It's hard to believe September is half over ready - wow! Well, today is the day to reveal the newest Instant Garden digital release, and it's a sweet black-eyed Susan with three sentiments. I did something totally different from what I've done so far with the digital images - I fussy cut the image - oh my! Yes, I printed it out to fit the size I wanted for my layout (one of the benefits of a digital image), colored it, and fussy cut it! Oh, how I loved doing that! And this pretty black-eyed Susan is easier to cut out than I thought it would be. I CASE'd one of the beautiful birthday cards I received (thank you, Tracy)! I embossed the teal designer paper and sanded it to show the raised portion. Next I printed one of the sentiments from Cuppa Buttercups and then used the notebook edge die, rounded the edges of the "notebook" and popped it over the embossing. I used my Empressor tool to add some shape to the petals and leaves, added something dimensionals, and popped it in place. And I even added some Wink of Stella to the petals and sequins! Wow, I think I am really getting wild, eh? But I think they work with the card.
NOW, there is some big news over at the Power Poppy blog about a big SALE and a Coloring Contest. And there are two free Coloring Pages from the first Mini Challenge. You can find all the details on my blog and (of course) on the Power Poppy blog. But this is the weekend to save some money on some of the beautiful digital sets.
As always, thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend! Big hugs, sweet friends!

Cheryl SANDED????? Whew, you are walkin' on the wild side now my friend. Of course, your card come out to perfection as always. I can't believe you fussy cut the flowers. It looks like they were die cut. Love your sprinkle of sequins and the notebook edge die is awesome! You did it again and again and again . . .

Oh, I know you love fussy cutting and that's probably why you do such a great job with it. Your card is beautiful...love the black-eyed Susan image. It looks great with the notebook die and pretty, embossed panel.

Looking through your gallery feels like a trip to one of the world's premier gardens. Your flowers are so life like there should be a lovely scent coming through my tablet. The light dots in the centers of the flowers give this such a nice 3d effect.

What I noticed first was the motion of the leaves between your coloring and your fussy cutting. Fabulous job on both Cheryl. Love your color combo too, Hugs
