If I had seen this card in the gallery, I would never in a million years have thought I made that background for Eunice and George.
All my thanks go to Elizabeth for the BRILLIANT tutorial here at SCS....check it out here .
I didn't have all the correct Copic or SN markers so I added a few Prismacolour pencils to the grass.
The frame looks a dit dodgy. I bought what I thought was a frame die set, turns out they are just rectangles...oh well, I guess that's what a craft knife and ruler are for LOL.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Eunice and George were fussy cut and placed on the card. I only adhered them at their feet and centre of their bodies. It kinda gives a 3D feel, without being bulky. I also gently dragged a walnut stained foam blending tool over them and also over the background.
Thanks so much for looking.

I am looking at your gallery and enjoying all the talent that I have missed the past few weeks. This has such a terrific 3D effect. The grass and sky turned out perfectly, and your coloring on the owl couple is outstanding.

Fun characters - you did an awesome job coloring them up! Super bg too - the grass is done wonderfully and the clouds are fun. This is really special - the lighting on the images and the scene is done so well. I even like that you put in some brown in the grass - so many great touches. Hugz
