I used a Hero Arts stamp that lays down the bg....which I did by braying black acrylic paint onto the stamp and then stamping. It gives a good solid black bg. Using reinkers and an aqua brush, colored the magnolia design. I used the layout from yesterday's SC.

This challenge is really bringing out the backgrounds that would make terrific fabric designs! I could just see this as a beautiful dress. Love that intense black between the delicate pinks of your magnolias. Fantastic!

Sallie I love how your used the black acrylic paint for the background it gave it such a great opaque black base! Beautiful flowers that just really pop on that background!

This is such a beautiful background stamp and I love the way you have coloured those beautiful magnolias. They really stand out so nicely against that black background.
