Ally's sketch is wonderful today. Needed to make an anniversary card for a friend. She did not want an A2 size, bigger and wanted the pic from the invite on the card. Started with an embossing folder...applied versamark ink and ran it through the Big Shot. Applied gold powder. Fussy cut the center and inserted the picture. Using the sentiment die, cut out with gold shimmer paper. Then using vellum used the computer to do their names. Immediately put the gold embossing powder on when it came out of the printer. Their names were too big....it looked all wrong. Now it was time to walk away.....Came back three hours later....added score lines on the bottom. Liked it much better, but I still had their embossed names...didn't want to waste it. I adhered it to their envelope. Sometimes when things are not going right, it's best to walk away for awhile. TFL

Beautiful! Great design on this anniversary card. You are so right about the walking away - I do that at work a lot too. I can't proof my own stuff unless I leave it for hours and hours. Hugz

Oh, Linda, this is gorgeous, and I love how it finally ended up! Yes, I know VERY well how helpful it is to just walk away from my projects -- sometimes for a while! Hehe! But it ended up beautifully done, and I'm sure they loved it! Hugs, sweet friend!
