Hello, sweet friends! This is a very different card for me in several ways. First, I used a CardMaps sketch from PageMaps.com, which was a real challenge for me. I don't often participate in sketch challenges, but it was good for me to get out of my "comfort zone." Second, I am not a green person, but it seemed to be the best DP I could find. I used this adorable vase of folk art flowers and a sentiment from another clear stamp - and then I worked at staying as close to the sketch as possible (although I probably could have allowed myself a bit more artistic license - hehe!). With the many dies I used, including the sweet little layered button array, this is a very mail friendly card.
And the big news is that Power Poppy is two years old today, and Marcella Hawley is celebrating with a big sale and a special birthday digi available only this weekend. So head on over to the party.
On a personal note, I have had the best week I've had in a very long time and have felt good for four days in a row. I praise God and thank you for your loving prayers, cards, notes, and pm's. They have meant so much to me, and I continue to be so blessed by the warm and caring SCS community! And my DH has decided to cancel the knee replacement surgery (for now) after seeing the surgeon last week. Needless to say, he is now a happy camper. But as I told him, "I'm watching you, fella!" Hehe!
As always, thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Stop by my blog for more details, including the CardMaps sketch. Big hugs, sweet friends! You are loved, and I am so blessed by you all!

I don't know how I missed this beautiful card, Cheryl. Your coloring is just out of this world. I love your little die cut button and the card is a winner, as usual.
Hope you're still having good days.

Your venture outside your comfort zone is a success....the greens on your card look wonderful. What a beautiful shade of green you chose. Your coloring on the heart vase is perfection. Gotta love that die cut button. I hope the few good days stretches to weeks, months, etc.

Hello my friend Cheryl........I never saw this card before so I thought that I would thank you for leaving a nice comment on my daffodil card (3-2-19) and also wanted to tell you that I am so proud of you for thinking out of the box and designing this card using a CardMatch sketch. I like that you have used dies to surround your square die and the little twine and your unique button placement adds a little more sweetness to your fantastically colored PP stamped image. Your DP is perfect matched to the colors you chose for your image. BeckyTE and I am, for sure, proud of you!!!!!
BTW, when you commented on my daffodil card you said that you really wanted the PTI die but it was not available. Just let me know if you would like me to die cut some of those for you and I will send them down via mail. No problem at all. I do the same for my friend Liz who lives in Fla.
Hugs kiddo......
