Taking a break from Christmas cards with one to start my valentine stash. Carey mentioned her sketch was an inspired retro-look of a Polaroid. I wanted a more contemporary look, so I elongated the panel #3 and used the die cut word to shorten it into her square shape of #2. The partial heart was free-handed with Brushos....using them as one would traditional tube watercolors. I didn't want a complete heart.

Wow Sallie this is so arty and fabulous!!! if I tried this it would look like I spilt water on my card. You make everything come together and look simply perfect. Ahhhhhh big happy sigh that we all know you before you become super famous!
