Mary is our hostess this week and she chosen bermuda bay, coastal cabana and smoky slate - desert is anything goes. I masked roughly where I wanted the hills to be and then embossed the trees in white. Then I sponged the sky in slate (just a little at the bottom), Bermuda and then pool (my substitute for cabana). Then I stamped the trees again in Bermuda and also the snowflakes. After removing the masks, I smeared a bit of ink when I stamped the sentiment and so then I had to rip another piece of cs to cover the hill section and glue it on. It seemed to work OK even though it wasn’t my original plan. Attached the deer, matted the panel and then attached to my card. Come and join in the challenge – you may be our next favorite!!

Wow! Beautiful card! I love all the masking and sponging, the trees and those sparkly snowflakes. Great save on the smudge. It looks like this was your original idea!
