This is for Barbara's fun colour challenge. I finally purchased a sample pack of SU cardstock so I could get the colours right and hopefully match it to stuff I already have.
The background was done by dribbling some paint onto an alfoil sheet then blasting it with a lot of water - swish a precut cardstock panel around in the watery paint then quickly take another piece of precut cardstock and kiss the two pieces together.
This method not only gives you two panels of painted card, but it thins down the first card nicely.
I used an eggplant coloured ink to do the stenciling and various copics for the girl (before fussy cutting her). The card lacked gusto so I used one of the blackberry coloured copics and stenciled the card again.
If you are now thinking my stencil is forever stained, you would be correct LOL. Hand drawn dohickies were added then finally I stamped on the words and added some pink bling.
The wierdo girl was an image I stamped at a fundraiser. Thank you for looking.
Hint: After fussy cutting I generally go around the edges with a dauber and black distress ink. When it is intricate cutting like this, turn the image so the wrong side is facing you, then using Copic (110 special black), run the side of the marker along the edges. If you slip it doesn't mater as you are applying it from the back.

I love your "weirdo girl", Susie. You did such an awesome job coloring her. Thanks for the fussy cutting tip about the black edging... great idea. The bg is gorgeous as always.

Another simply wonderful creation Susie. It must have taken her hours to braid those beads into her hair. Hope she has a very strong neck (though it doesn't look promising from this angle) as she looks top heavy with the weight of the beads. She definitely has a beautifully colour coordinated outfit on. Gorgeous.

FABBY card! I think your "weirdo" girl is really cute. Love the coloring, your inky bkgrd and the STQ tall word stamp (I don't have that one.) I think the image is a Dyan Reaveley image(s.) She makes parts that you put together for mixed media and some are already characterized.
