Sue28(Sue), one of SCS's terrific Aussie card artists, was selected to be Featured Stamper this week. I am thrilled to see that she is finally recognized for all her talent and beautiful cards. I've been following her for years.
I bought this PB stamp to make a birthday card for a dear friend who is an avid fisherman. Gulf Coast of Florida in the winter going after the ocean fish and in the summer, fishing the waters of Lake Michigan for the freshwater varieties. His fishing boats are much more elaborate than this dinghy, but I know he will enjoy the spirit of the card. : ) So when I saw this CARD of Sue's I knew that this was "it"!
The water was done with Bisters and the rest was colored with conventional watercolors. Thanks for the inspiration, Sue.
Sue, a MOST well-deserved and well-earned honor. ENJOY!! Hugs, Sallie

Wow, Sallie, you know I am used to seeing your color images like people or flowers, so to see your fisherman done so well was not a surprise, but boy oh boy, the way you colored the lake, just blew me out of the water (pun intended) I wish I lived closer, so I could watch you work IRL, as your technique is wonderful and always so realistic! Thank you for all you share!

Sallie, I don't know how I missed this gem. I absolutely love this. Your watercoloring is superb, and I love the shading of your fisherman. Your fisherman friend is going to cherish this beauty.
