Needed a special sympathy card for a friend. This week's color challenge worked well. Kraft/Crumb Cake, Real Red, and Early Espresso are some lovely colors together.
I am sad my month as a guest hostess for this challenge is up - I have had so much fun! So glad I rediscovered this challenge a few months ago. Playing with color as the jumping off point is a perfect way to start a card, and I so amazed at how different all the cards come out. Fun stuff.

Had some dessert with this one - two punched hearts (one inside) and a die cut which I always count as a punch because the Punchkateers do. I plan to make another card this week too as I love these colors!!!
Anne Ryan made a comment about me kind of having some mixed media going on here - I thought about that and I really do. I used some SU! ink to change the color and tones on my red banner - it had some yellow in it and I sponged it away. I used reinker to change the color of my seam binding - it was a vanilla with a touch of green. Lastly, I changed the color on my little cog tucked in the middle of the heart at the top with some water color - it was black and I made it early espresso. Funny how sometimes we don't think really deeply about what we do - it just kind of magically happens.

Magic is the right word, Nancy. Your card is stunning. You really designed an exceptional card for the CC. The white with the soft sponging on the tag sentiment goes so nicely with the rest of the card. The bow and little details look fantastic.
