Hi Color Challenge fans! I'm your hostess this week, and I selected a trio of cool, wintry colors to get us into the holiday mood. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone does with them.
I jumped on the opportunity to make another Christmas card, as I'm still very behind on getting them done. This one features a tag made with the SU Scalloped Tag Topper punch, stamped with dots of white ink to suggest snow. The "star" of the card is the silver tree backed with Pear Pizzazz cardstock. The background to this card took shape in my mind as soon as I saw this beautiful swirly, snowflaky DS paper. A few snowdrifts, sequins, a rhinestone in the star, some pretty ribbons and a small greeting, and the card was done!
If I had a Lost Lagoon stamp pad, I would have sponged the edges of the tag! (I've ordered one now!)
Thanks for looking, and please play along with us this week!

How did I miss this gorgeous card? It is so well thought out and executed. The tag alone is beautiful, but you made such a fantastic card to go with it. I love the soft colors, esp the dp in the bkg. Just lovely.

That is a lovely tree die, Barbara! Can't tell if you bleach splattered your tag or if it's DP. It really makes the tree stand out though. The snow hills and that swirly background paper are perfect!
