This card is for the 'Simply Snowflakes' CAS challenge today. Very appropriate in that it has been snowing all day here. I admired Brenda's (Benzi) card in the gallery CAS299, Snowflake Wreath by Benzi at Splitcoaststampers and was reminded that I had a wreath stamp hiding somewhere that was one of the first stamps I ever bought. The gorgeous wreath image she used and her title completely inspired my card.
I stamped the wreath with Delicata gold pigment ink and heat embossed with gold EP. The snowflakes were stamped on gold paper with white pigment ink and embossed with white EP. I then fussy cut them. I used red stickles to add a little colour. The sentiment is from an Elizabeth Craft Designs die.

I have this bittersweet wreath stamp as well, and use it for so many occasions! Embossing really makes the delicate branches pop! You do have patience on those fussy cuts...a very simple and pretty card/ Diane

I love the delicateness of this twiggy wreath, Ann. So pretty with the equally delicate flakes dispersed over it. Just the perfect little touch of colour with the berries.

Oh, this is lovely! The way you did the snowflakes is genius - I would never have thought to emboss white on gold paper!
