I actually made this the same day this challenge was announced WT489 - Lots of Dots. I got stuck on how to finish it, so I am very late...again...
My dots are: the Swiss Dot EF, the dots in the die cut scalloped edge, along the edges of my velvet ribbon, and all my pearls!
The bow is an SVG file cut on my Cricut. The edges are the A2 Scalloped Borders One.
I cut the Memory Box Butterfly edge at my die club so I do not own it.I used two Crafty Ann "Happy Birthday " cuts glued together to give more dimension. I cut the piece between the embossing at the top at my die club and it is a Anna Griffin die cut.
This card is for my dear friend Mary of 25+ years. Mary is being treated for bone cancer and each year that she celebrates a birthday is a gift for us all! She loves my monochromatic cards so I made her this one with lots of love in my heart.

This is just breathtaking. Every element is perfection. I wondered how you could give up such an amazing creation and then I went back to read the story of how you created the card. And then, I saw the part about your friend. Blessings to her. She will surely smile to receive this.

GORGEOUS doesn't do this creation justice, it is absolutely breath-taking!!! SOOOO elegant!!! I love each detail!!! I am particularly taken by the detail at the top of the card, and the pearls you've used to highlight it. But each detail adds a great deal, and you've balanced it all beautifully!!!
I've loved monocramatic cards but have never attempted one, you've inspired me to try one, especially in cream or white. I KNOW your friend was absolutely touched by your demonstration of your friendship, you have such a kind heart--I often see such encouraging comments you leave for many card-making artists, myself included, and I know how much your comments have encouraged me when you have left them for my cards--thank you, Peggy!!!
You have such diversity of styles in your cards, I love that. Just another indication of your maturity of style and depth to your cards. I love them!!!
Hoping and praying that your friend will receive many birthday cards from you in the coming years, I can only imagine how she was encouraged by receiving this card alone. You are one wonderful lady, Peggy, and I feel blessed to have connected with you here on SCS.

Peggy, I am sorry about your friend! I just lost a dear one from 1st grade all the way for about 65 years. Your friend will surely love this! The scallop border is gorgeous, as is the whole card! You have the greatest talent! tfs
