WT426 - Discover It... Try something new...anything new to you is fair game
I bought Art Impressions water color stamps a couple of years ago, but never used them. So I've watched their videos a few times and decided to try one for myself. I used 7 different stamps, colored them with watercolor markers and stamped them onto my watercolor paper. Then I took a paintbrush dipped in water onto the image. My first try I used to much water and had to redo it. So the last time I probably didn't used as much as I needed but I am happy with it... On the video she tells you to sign your art, so I signed it and thought it would be perfect for my Mom's Mother's Day card this year. (Yes, she still calls me by my nick name, so I signed it with that)
My computer is in the shop, so I had to use 2 other computers this morning, The card is actually a 5 inch square. I used two different cameras and the photos still make the card look rectangle to me. Too weird... The Spellbinders romantic rectangle was resized and it is also square, but it doesn't look like it in my photo on this computer.
The romantic rectangle was shorten by only cutting about half of it and backing it out of the diecut machine. Match up the repeat pattern on the die to shorten the diecut and put the other side back into the machine. Stop cutting once you see the full cut has been made. Then back it out. This gives you a square instead of a rectangle. Hope this makes sense. I then traced the diecut onto the purple and cut it out to give the color behind it
Thanks for looking
