This is my card for cc420. Peggy is our hostess and she is challenging us to a red and saffron party.
Our Dessert is a buffet this week. We are to pick our favorite dessert from past challenges. Be sure to tell us what it is! Mine is from cc372 where we were to use designer paper. Easy one for me because I love using dsp.
My layout is last week’s sc429. My bg paper is from Graphic 45 “Eden Symphony”. I paired it with Bazzill maraschino cardstock. The 2 panels on top of the dsp are also maraschino cs and I used the SU fancy fan embossing folder.
My flowers are from the SU set “bloomin’ marvelous”. I stamped them in pool party, so saffron and fired brick inks and fussy cut them.
They are layered over a Spellbinders labels 18 die cut in so saffron. I stamped my sentiment in fired brick ink and added a butterfly to complete my card.
ThatÂ’s my sample. I hope you can play along with us this week.

Beautiful! You set off your focal image so wonderfully with that DP and the texture! Lovely flowers!
