I was asked to make a 60th birthday card and what fabulous inspiration at today's Inspiration Challenge website - Angel at My Table. I think I could make cards all day long inspired by this website!
I chose this vintage rose cushion, it made me think of this dp by KaiserCraft called Sweet Nothings.
I sponged all edges for the vintage look and added a die-cut butterfly - in the end I felt the butterfly was too big and overshadowed the rest of the card, but I don't have a butterfly die-cut which would have been just the right size. The sentiment has been computer generated using Monterey font.

WOW is this a gorgeous card Bridget!!! I love the colors together. Your baker's twine matches perfectly and is a wonderfully done embellishment. I'm sure Kathleen will love this card, and whomever asked you to make it will be very pleased.
Oh, stunningly vintagey goodness on a fabulous card!! I'm especially drawn to the soft pink background and the green filligree around the oval. The butterfly is simply gorgeous. I especially like the delicate lace next to the twine. Thanks for sharing.
