Toni has a challenge today to do some fussy cutting. With all the dies out there, it's becoming a dying art. It feels good to take our basic scissors and do some cutting. I needed a sympathy card...so I took an embossing folder and cut out just the portion I wanted...added some piercing to it. I made the circles by using my eyelet punch. Added the sentiment and a tiny butterfly. tfl

I really like the cutout on the embossed layer, really pops. i will have to try this technique as it looks sooooo elegant and rich... TFS

Linda, great job on this sympathy card - love the fussy cutting, and just in time to give me some inspiration - I need to make some sympathy cards for my stash. Your soft coloring and the intricate cutting make this look so very special!!
