I made this card for the MFT80 challenge. Then I saw the Teapot challenge and thought "hey, I have a giraffe to share". I'm new to the site (yes, I know it's says I've been a member since 2010, but I was overwhelmed and didn't know how to use it) and to this challenge. I'm trying to figure out all these challenges so I can use my overflowing stock of stamping items.
Stamp Used: MFT PI Giraffe Girl
Paper: Giraffe background from PaperHouse Productions, Burlap-Home Basics, the rest scraps
Embellishments: eyelets and brad- Recollections
Die Cuts: MFT Simply Scallops, MFT Sentiment Strips

So-o-o glad you came to the tea party. You will find a great bunch of generous and supportive stampers each Tuesday. As you can see I have been a SCS for a long time and I still don't know all the ends and outs but I sure do enjoy this site!! Love your card and so will Alex.

Love your background paper!!
Some challenges are certainly great for using up supplies - but if you hang around the tea-parties you'll discover that some of the themes can be a bit tricky and demand new supplies!
The burlap adds a great feel to this, too.

welcome aboard! I am relatively new too and it is a fun bunch to belong to! With the wonderful stories and challenges, they push you to use unused supplies and unused brainy ideas! It is the love of the challenge! Hang in there, it gets easier and IS FUN!
Your card is cute with the different layers, it all ties together! tfs

Hi there and WELCOME to the tea party! Tuesday are so much FUN! Hope you will continue to join us each week!
PERFECT card and you fit into two challenges-don't you just love it when that happens? Especially by pure chance! Giraffe paper seemed to work for me too!
The tea parties were why I joined SCS! I just loved all the fun they were having each week and wanted to be a part of it! I was totally lost at first, but it does get easier! I'm so not a computer person, so just keep trying or ask any one of us for some help-we would all be delighted to lend a hand!
